Frank Esposito

   Frank started his catching career as the starting catcher at Monsignor Farrell High School. In his junior and senior years, he was third team all-state. Frank batted a combined .490 in his high school career, with a record of 44 wins and only 4 loses.    Frank was also the first catcher in the Richmond County Baseball Club.    Frank received a scholarship to play baseball at Seton Hall University were he was a four year starter. Over his career there, he caught 7 pitchers who went on to play professionally, all who are still pitching in the minors today.    This past season Frank was ranked #1 for most of the year in number of runners thrown out and #8 in the country in throw out percentage.    In 2011 as captain of the SHU pirates, they won the Big East Conference. During the tournament, Frank hit .386 with 6 RBI's. They then went on to beat Arizona in the Texas regional.
