Tyler Sciacca

     Tyler attended Msgr. Farrell High School where he was a 3 year varsity player starting off at 2nd base then moving to shortstop for 2 years. He also played at Richmond County Baseball his junior and senior years.      Tyler went on to play at Villanova University for 4 years as a shortstop/2nd baseman and was a 2 year captain, graduating in 2013. He was a career .312 hitter at Villanova in 184 college games with 45 doubles, 10 triples and 102 runs scored. He also boasted a .976 career fielding percentage.      In his junior season at Villanova in 2012, his line was .359/.430/.500, amassing 43 runs scored, 16 doubles and 6 triples in 56 games played.      He went on to play in the prestigious Cape Cod League where he batted .324 with 15 RBIs, 23 runs scored and 7 stolen bases in 36 games. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 27th round of the 2013 MLB draft.
